Dr. Richard Lin graduated from Yale University with a bachelors in science in Molecular Biophysicis and Biochemistry before completing his medical degree at New York University.  Afterwards, he continued his internal medicine training at UCLA-Harbor in California, and then returned to NYU to finish his gastroenterology fellowship. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He has published abstracts in palliative metallic stenting as well as inflammation’s role in colon cancer. Dr. Lin is a member of Hackensack Gastroenterology Associates.

While Dr. Lin treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including advanced biliary endoscopy, metallic stenting and capsule endoscopy, he has a particular interest in colon cancer as well as Asian American gastrointestinal issues including stomach cancer and Hepatitis B.

George Nikias is a graduate of New York Medical College. Dr. Aditi Chhada graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She then continued on in Boston for both medical school and Internal Medicine residency at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, respectively.  Dr. Chhada did her clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York University where she earned national recognition for research on Helicobacter pylori. She has performed additional research on colorectal cancer screening and prevention, specifically in patients with renal disease. Dr. Chhada is a member of Hackensack Gastroenterology Associates.  

Dr. Chhada has trained in diverse settings including city hospitals, veteran’s hospitals, and private academic centers, which has allowed her to gain a special knowledge and appreciation for the needs of all patients. Dr. Chhada’s clinical interests encompass general gastroenterology and hepatology. This includes screening and prevention of colorectal cancer, esophageal motility disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, cirrhosis, and women’ s health issues.

Diane Naraine is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse practitioners (AANP) and is ACLS, BLS/instructor and PALS certified.
Diane joined Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey in May 2019. She graduated from Montclair State University with her Bachelors of Science in Biology and later went on to earn her Accelerated Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) at Felician College. During her time at Montclair State University, she served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on the campus.

After working several years as an Emergency Trauma Nurse, she quickly advanced her education earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickson University in just two years. Diane also received induction into the National Nursing Honor Society: Sigma Theta Tau. Majority of her Nursing experience and skills was earned at Hackensack University Medical Center Emergency Trauma Department. When Diane is not helping patients she enjoys teaching CPR to the community.
