Frank Ruiz, MD
Dr. Frank Ruiz is a gastroenterologist at Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey.
Dr. Ruiz provides comprehensive care for a wide range of gastrointestinal and digestive health conditions. Throughout his career, he has also held leadership positions within the local medical community, including serving as Chief of Gastroenterology at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic. He is also affiliated with St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Ruiz is committed to providing accessible, personalized care and helping patients better understand and manage their digestive health.
Education & Training
Dr. Ruiz earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, before receiving his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark.
He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at UMDNJ–University Hospital and went on to complete his gastroenterology fellowship at UMDNJ, where he served as Chief Fellow of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Ruiz is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
