Prior to his position at GANJ, Dr. Bernheim conducted extensive research for the Division of Gastroenterology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.
Dr. Bernheim completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, and his residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian—Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he served as Assistant Chief Resident.
Furthermore, he received his medical degree with honors from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York, and his Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and behavioral biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Throughout his career, Dr. Bernheim has conducted several poster presentations, oral presentations, and talks on various gastrointestinal issues. He has also authored multiple publications in medical journals dedicated to research in gastroenterology.
