Kristen Polentarutti, PA

A physician assistant with a diverse background in infectious diseases, primary care, urgent care, and occupational medicine, Kristen Polentarutti brings a wealth of experience to our practice. Known for her excellent bedside manner and proficiency in patient assessments, she is also adept at working with healthcare teams on a variety of complex cases. She has been a certified physician assistant since 2019.

Before joining our team, Kristen worked at the Infectious Disease Center of New Jersey in Livingston, NJ, where she conducted thorough patient assessments and managed complex cases including those involving antibiotic-resistant organisms and immunocompromised patients. Part of her duties involved educating patients and families on infection prevention, treatment options and disease management. Prior to this post, Kristen worked in primary care, urgent care and occupational medicine at Care Station Medical Group in Springfield, NJ. Her hands-on practice there included laceration repair, incisions and splinting, and fluorescing dye exams.

Kristen received her M.S. degree in physician assistant studies from Rutgers University, as well as a B.S. in public health, also from Rutgers, where she graduated summa cum laude.
