After graduating magna cum laude from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Chhada completed medical school and internal medicine residency at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center, respectively.  She did her clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York University, NY, where she earned national recognition for her research on Helicobacter pylori. She has performed additional research on colorectal cancer screening and prevention, specifically in patients with renal disease.

Dr. Chhada has trained in diverse settings, including city hospitals, veteran’s hospitals, and private academic centers, allowing her to gain a special knowledge and appreciation for the needs of all patients.
