Dr. Volfson completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and a residency in internal medicine through New York’s North Shore-LIJ Health System, and received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a biology concentration and an associate degree in liberal arts from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, CT.

Fluent in English and Russian, Dr. Volfson has been published in several publications on various topics. He is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
