Ori A. Rackovsky, MD

Dr. Ori Rackovsky is board certified in both in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Education & Training

Dr. Rackovsky earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Yeshiva University in New York City. He received his medical degree with distinction in research from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, also in New York City.

During medical school, Dr. Rackovsky received the prestigious Medical Research Fellowship from Howard Hughes Medical Institute to support his research in digestive diseases.

Following medical school, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai. During that time, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for outstanding mentoring and clinical skills. He completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai’s Dr. Henry D. Janowitz Division of Gastroenterology, where he trained with leaders in the field of inflammatory bowel diseases.

Awards & Recognition

Dr. Rackovsky’s work in liver fibrosis and inflammatory bowel disease has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at local, national, and international conferences.
