Before practicing at Ocean Family Gastroenterology, Dr. Nagaria was a hospitalist at Saint Clare’s Hospital. He completed his internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and the remaining part of his two-year internal medicine residency program at Rutgers/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ-NJMS). He also served as Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) in New Jersey. He then completed an intensive fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at UMDNJ-NJMS.

During his tenure at Rutgers, Dr. Nagaria published several abstracts in major medical journals. Currently, he is the primary investigator in multiple clinical trials and part of the teaching faculty at RWJ-Community Medical Center’s residency program.

Dr. Nagaria is currently a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
