Dr. Subodh H. Patel is a gastroenterologist and a partner at Gastroenterology Associates of New Jersey (GANJ). He is dual board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Prior to his position at GANJ, Dr. Patel was in a solo private practice for 30 years. He also held 15 various committee and chairman positions throughout his career for St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital in Wayne, NJ.

Dr. Patel completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and residency and internship at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He was also a research fellow and a resident in internal medicine at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai, India.

In addition, he completed a rotating internship at Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital and gradated from the University of Mumbai in Mumbai, India with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree.

Dr. Patel is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the New Jersey Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Society.
